Mildura South Primary School offers language study (Italiano) as part of the specialist programs. The main strengths developed through languages (Italiano) are; communicating in Italiano, understanding the relationship between language and culture and students understanding themselves as communicators.

Students develop skills such as listening and speaking, reading and writing. The program provides opportunity to learn and practise language through games, roles play, ICT, singing and story. Connections are made between students’ own language, culture and value system. 

Students are given opportunity to showcase their learning through assembly performances, Facebook posts and Newsletter items.
